Found by search, quoted by assistants.

The SEO lens reads the served page twice: once as a crawler, once as an answer engine. Each finding cites the value it measured, names the query or the entity, and arrives as a brief the agent that built the site can act on.

When is Denver benchmarking due?

Answered, but across three paragraphs. Not liftable as one sentence.

Who pays for the compliance study?

Stated once, in full, near the top. Quotable as it stands.

Two readers

A crawler ranks you. An assistant quotes you.

They want different things from the same page. Classic SEO optimises for a result you click; answer engine optimisation optimises for a sentence that gets repeated with your name attached. The lens reads for both and says which one each finding is for.

01

Per page, with the number

Every finding names the page, the value and its measurement: the title and its length, the schema type, the anchor text that says nothing. Never "improve your content".

02

Read as an answer engine

Whether an assistant could quote the page: the entities stated in text, a self-contained definition near the top, schema that names what the business is, answers it can lift whole.

03

Applied as a brief

A finding becomes a change brief the same as any other. Hand it to the agent that built the site, or make the change yourself.

  • Metadata

Title, description, canonical, robots, Open Graph and Twitter cards. Checked against what is actually served, with lengths, not written blind.

  • Structured data

Which JSON-LD types are present, and whether they name what the page is: a LocalBusiness with a real address and area, a Product, an FAQ, an Article.

  • Quotability

Does the page answer its own questions in sentences an assistant could lift whole, or hedge them, bury them, or spread one answer across three paragraphs?

  • Internal linking

Whether the page connects onwards with anchor text that describes the destination, reported by the exact anchors that do not.

  • Allowance

The SEO lens runs inside a review and draws on the review allowance. A deep review counts as three.

Two readers, one review.

Run it on a page you already shipped and read what each reader could not find.
